You are welcome here whether you consider yourself a Democratic party activist, politically curious, or maybe even a Republican visiting our site to see what we are doing.  We are an active party of all ages, varied backgrounds, with a range of interests. 

Located in the heart of Michigan’s Copper Country, Houghton County has a long history of service to the nation. From marching soldiers off to the nations conflicts since the Civil War, to supplying it almost 10 billion pounds of copper, to the world class education and research performed at Michigan Technological and Finlandia universities, Houghton County has had an impact on the shape and nature of our country.

We are proud of our county history, but even more so, we are hopeful for its future. That is why we are involved in the political process, to better our collective futures. We are the party of the common good and believe strongly that we are all accountable to each other. If you believe in the common good, in individual freedom, and in the general principle that our generation is responsible to leave those that follow it a better, freer, and safer country, then please, join us in our efforts.
